Ikingssgc on GitHub: A Journey of Game Development and Community Revitalization

It's been a while since my last post, but I'm excited to share with you all the exciting developments that have taken place over the past two months. As some of you may know, Mojang recently hosted a 60-hour game jam, known as the 'Mojam,' where they invited other developers, including Oxeye and Wolfire, to create new games from scratch. I was inspired by this event and decided to share my own experiences with creating a top-down shooter called 'Catacomb Snatch.'

The game is still in its early stages, but it has already gained a lot of attention due to its unique steampunk RPG theme. I'm proud to say that the community has been very supportive and helpful, despite the fact that the game is still plagued by bugs and glitches.

But enough about the game; let's talk about what I've been up to lately. As you may know, the Curse of vanilla Minecraft was recently changed, which has led to a resurgence in activity on the forums. It seems that people are finally getting used to the new mechanics, or perhaps the addition of an OP character has gotten everyone excited again.

Whatever the reason, it's great to see the community coming back together and sharing their experiences. I've been enjoying reading through the threads and seeing all the creative solutions people have come up with for dealing with the challenges of vanilla Minecraft.

In terms of my own projects, I've been focusing on building a new gaming PC, which has been a fun but time-consuming process. I'm excited to finally get it set up and start playing some of the newer games that have caught my eye.
